Wilma Minton

Wilma Benge Minton, age 96 passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Laurel Creek Health and Rehab in Manchester, Kentucky. She was born on Thursday, May 1, 1930 in Manchester, Kentucky to Square and Mattie (Patterson) Benge. She was a homemaker and belonged to the Pine Hill Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her sons: Edward Minton, Charles Minton and T. L. Minton, her daughter: Wila Dean Hayre and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Square and Mattie (Patterson) Benge, her husband: Charlie Minton, her children: Carl Minton, Walter Minton, Loretta Jewell and Eulene Hammons as well as her brothers and sisters: Deb Benge and Les Benge.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Hammons, Doyle Hammons, Travis Minton, Sean Minton, Scott Hayre, Freddy Minton and Junior Minton.

Funeral Servies for Wilma Benge Minton will be conducted on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Marty Nolan will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Reuben Bruner Cemetery in the Hoop Hole Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel
