William Edward “Duke” Salyers, 72, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born Wednesday, June 2, 1954 to Claude and Hollie (Cash) Salyers. He worked as an automotive mechanic.
He leaves to mourn his passing his brothers and sisters: Esther Moore, William Salyers, Emmanuel Salyers, Lillian Salyers and Yiskah Israel.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Claude and Hollie (Cash) Salyers; his siblings: Jeannette Salyers, Matthew Salyers, Martha Mae Crawford, Wilma Jean Segar, Samuel Lee Salyers, Mary Elizabeth Salyers, Bobby Jean Salyers and Kenneth Ray Salyers.
Funeral services for William Edward “Duke” Salyers will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 12:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Salyers Cemetery in the Blue Hole Community.
The Family will receive friends and family after 11:00 A. M. until funeral time on Saturday at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
