Virginia Ruth Henson Hinkle

Virginia Ruth Henson Hinkle, age 60 passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at the AdventHealth of Manchester. She was born on Monday, April 11, 1966 in Manchester, Kentucky to Frank and Edith (Sizemore) Henson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Leon Patrick Hinkle, her children: Amber Henson, Hannah Hinkle (Dalton), Joseph Hinkle, Jonathan Henson and David Mills (Holly), her grandson: Noah Eden Smith and these brothers and sisters: Cecil Henson, Leslie Henson, Jesse Henson (Loretta), Jeffrey Henson, Angela Grigsby (George) and Betty Swafford. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly, her sister-in-law: Sharon Henson and her bonus daughter: Jayme (J Bug) Gilbert.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Edith Henson, her grandparents: Sidney and Nancy Sizemore, her brothers: Bobby Henson, Marty Henson, Frankie Henson and Harold Henson and her sister: Catherine Gibson (Ernest).

Funeral Services for Virginia Ruth Henson Hinkle will be conducted on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Grigsby will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday evening from 7 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
