Vernal Donnie Prayter, age 84 of Oneida, Kentucky passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday, December 8, 1940 in Beechburg, Kentucky to Douglas Prayter and Clara (McRoberts) Baker.

He is survived by many friends, neighbors and loved ones.

Graveside Services for Vernal Donnie Prayter will be conducted on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 1 PM at the Manchester Memorial Gardens. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
