Stafford Curtis “Chip” Robinson, age 71 passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 in London, Kentucky. He was born on Thursday, July 14, 1955 in Oneida, Kentucky to the union of Curtis and Lorraine (Stafford) Robinson. Chip retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation and was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served in the 101st Airborne as a Screaming Eagle.

He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter: Lisa Renee Robinson Amburgey and brother: Lance Ryan Robinson, his stepchildren: Reanna Woody and David Inman and wife Kim and his grandchildren: Christopher Jordan Tate Amburgey and MaKinzie J. Hacker, his step-grandchildren: Terri Lenae Smith, Haley Michelle Woody and Jayden Jones and his step-great grandchildren: Hayden Grace Smith and Charlie Ryan Combs. Also surviving is his sister: Judy Carol Robinson Maricle and Cletus, his special nephew: Rusty Roberts, his special niece: Donna Leah Maricle Mobley as well as several nieces and nephews and his special friends: Stanley Roberts, Rocky Robinson and Roger Samples.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Curtis and Lorraine Robinson, his wife: Laura Ruth Robinson, his sister: Donna Robinson Roberts, his brother: William Compton Robinson and his son-in-law: Ricky Amburgey.

Funeral Services for Stafford Curtis “Chip” Robinson will be conducted on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rusty Roberts will be presiding. Burial will follow in the B. F. White Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
