Sheryl Harvey Dezarn

Sheryl Harvey Dezarn, age 84 departed this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born on Saturday, January 25, 1941 in Manchester, Kentucky to Eugene and Marie (Dezarn) Dezarn . He retired from LeeCo Coal Mines, a member of Clay Lodge #798 F & AM, a Laurel County Shriner and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Cherye Hicks (Charles) and Mike Dezarn (Katrina); these grandchildren: Kevin Hicks (Jessica), Jonathan Hicks (Emily), Abagail Dezarn and Gwendolyn Dezarn; three great grandchildren: Jase Hicks, Aimalie Hicks, and Ezekiel Hicks. Also surviving is one brother: Darrell Dezarn.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Eugene and Marie Dezarn; his wife: Anna Lee Dezarn; his brother: Grover Dezarn and his sister: Nancy Pearl Jackson.

Funeral Services for Sheryl Harvey Dezarn will be conducted on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Verlon Gray will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Beech Creek Cemetery in the Beech Creek Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
