Scott Andrew Cary

Scott Andrew Cary, age 23, departed this life on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Baptist Health in Richmond, KY. He was born on Tuesday, December 18, 2001 in Lexington, KY to Kevin Cary and Kandace Allen Wallace. He was an electrical apprentice with Davis H. Elliot Co. He was a specialist with the National Guard with the 149th EVCC.

He leaves to mourn his passing his parents: Kandace (Roy) Wallace, Kevin (Mindy) Cary; his fiancée: Gracie Sisselberger; his paternal grandparents: James Cary, Christine Bray; maternal grandparents: Rhonda Allen and Seth (Mary) Darnell; his honorary family: Colin and Emily Maher. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Chris (Kasey) Harris and his nephew: Asher; Cara (Austin) Maher, Joshua Wallace, Jack Spencer, Aidan Spencer, Carrick Moon, Andrew Moon, Clifton Wallace, Austin Wallace, and Walker Wallace and these uncles and aunts: Jess Cary, Melissa Cary, Michael (Alicia) Allen, Paul Jason (Tonya) Allen, Anthony Gregory, Seth Michael (Crystal) Darnell and a host of many cousins, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Paul Allen, Kathy Hacker Darnell, Butch Wallace, Judy Wallace; nephews and niece: Lyric Hendrix Harris, Houston Charles Harris and Nevaeh Marie Harris.

Funeral Services for Scott Andrew Cary will be conducted on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Carl Allen will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Hacker Cemetery on East Laurel Road.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, May 2, 2025 after 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
