Sandra Crawford

We are gathered here today to honor and remember the life of Sandra Crawford, who passed away peacefully at home at the age of 73.

Sandra was many things to many people — a beloved sister, cousin, aunt, great aunt and friend. She held a special place in the hearts of her family and those fortunate enough to know her. Her presence was steady, thoughtful, and deeply caring.From an early age, Sandra showed determination and intelligence.

 She graduated at the top 10 of her class from Franklin High School in 1970. and went on to attend Miami University, where she graduated with honors in 1974. She chose a path rooted in service. She studied to become a social worker and drug and alcohol counselor, dedicating her life to helping others. Sandra carried that commitment into her professional life, working for the state of Ohio for more than 40 years and spending most of those years in corrections. Her work was not easy, but it mattered. Through her work, she made a quiet but lasting difference.

Today, we also take comfort in knowing that Sandra is reunited with those who went before her — her mother Josephine, her father Garrett, and her sister Charlotte — welcomed home by love that never truly leaves us.Though we feel the sadness of her passing, we are grateful for the life she lived and the example she set.

 Sandra’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the family who loved her, and the values she stood for.As we say goodbye, may we remember Sandra with gratitude, speak of her often, and carry her kindness forward. She will be missed, but she will not be forgotten.Rest in peace, Sandra. You are loved.

Graveside services for Sandra Crawford will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the B. F. White Cemetery.
