Ruth Hacker

Ruth Hacker, age 92 departed this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at her home.  She was born on Monday, March 28, 1932 in Oneida, Kentucky to Albert and Stella (Gibson) McQueen.  She was a retired nurse with Dr. W. E. Becknell’s medical practice and she worked at Laurel Creek Nursing Home.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children:  Edward Hacker, Glen Hacker, Jennings Hacker and Ina Wooldridge; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents:  Albert and Stella McQueen; her husband:  Eugene Hacker; her son:  Gary Hacker and three brothers:  Leroy McQueen, Charlie McQueen and Henry McQueen and one sister:  Emma.

Funeral Services for Ruth Hacker will be conducted on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Hacker-Lunsford Cemetery in the Chicken Branch Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, May 4, 2024 after 12:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
