Roy Wagers

Roy Wagers, age 76, departed this life on August 2, 2025 at his home. He was born on Tuesday, September 28, 1948 in Manchester, Ky to Beve and Rosie (Curry) Wagers. He loved his family and riding four wheelers. He also loved to go looking for ginseng. He was a retired coal miner with Leeco.

Roy survived by his children: Patricia Smith and husband Elvis, Roy Glenn Wagers and Jessica Curry; these grandchildren: Brandon Smith, April Rodriguez, George Michael Smith, Josh Vallance, Jake Vallance, Jadelynn Baird and Eric Wagers; these great grandchildren: Alexis Rodriguez, Peyton Nevaeh Smith, Addalyn Collett and Lyla Bowling. Also surviving are these brothers and sister: Troy Wagers, Brenda Walters, and James Wagers.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Beve and Rosie Wagers and his brothers: Ray Wagers and Donnie Wagers.

Funeral services for Roy Wagers will be conducted on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 12:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Hubbard and Rev. Paul Mitchell will be presiding. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones after 6:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
