Raleigh Bray

Raleigh Bray, age 91 passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026 at his home. He was born on Monday, October 29, 1934 in Manchester to William “Bill” and Eliza “Lizzie” (Foutch) Bray. He was a farmer.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Alvin Bray, Kathleen Lewis and husband George, Melvin Bray and Margie Mae Hill and husband Eddie. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as other family and friends.

Raleigh is preceded in death by his parents: Bill and Lizzie Bray, his wife: Mary Bray, his children: Calvin Bray, Myrtus Horton, David “Buck” Bray and Geraldine Horton and his brothers and sister: Paul Bray, Rex Bray, Sr., Pearl Bray, Lester Bray, Burchell Bray and Esther Bray.

Funeral Services for Raleigh Bray will be conducted on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. J. C. Stevens will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Bray Family Cemetery in the Bray Creek Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
