Mrs. Sarah Jones

Mrs. Sarah Jones, age 70; of Muddy Gap departed this life on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at her home. She was a member of the Horse Creek Holiness Church, a billing clerk at the hospital, hairdresser and a grandparent with the Clay County Board of Education. She was born on Friday, November 16, 1945 in Manchester do the union of Harrison "Dad" and Bessie Curry Roberts.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Tomesa Jones, her son: David Jones and his girlfriend Emma, her grandchildren: Beve Dewayne Begley and Chad Hacker and her great grandchildren: Jaiden and Addison Begley, and Patience "Pate" Jones. Also surviving are her siblings: Delbert Roberts and his wife Vanda and Marjorie Marcum and her husband Thomas, a host of nieces and nephews, her brother-in-law: Gilbert Jones, her sisters-in-law: Ruby Roberts, Opal Mitchell, Ruth Martin, and Nellie McCoy.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Harrison "Dad" and Bessie Roberts, her husband: Beve P. Jones, her brothers: Randall Roberts, Dalmas Roberts, and Ray Roberts, her sister: Madge Hawk, her nephews: John G. Roberts and Charles Lee Martin, and her niece: Deidre Roberts Hacker.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Sarah Jones will be conducted on Wednesday, June 8 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Terry Reed and Rev. Jonathan Henson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be on Tuesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
