Mrs. Lucille Hornsby, age 88 of Burning Springs Community departed this life on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her home. She was born on Sunday, March 4, 1928 in Manchester to the union of Oscar and Maude Webb Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the Laurel Creek Church of God Worship Center.
She leaves to mourn her passing her special niece and caregiver: Dorothy Lovins and her husband Gary, her family, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and special friends: Liz Cody and Mary Lou Cody, and her sister: Betty Hacker.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Oscar and Maude Smith, her husband: Daniel Hornsby, her daughter: Joyce Swain, and her sisters: Irene Hignite and Jennie.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Lucille Hornsby will be conducted on Saturday, October 1st at 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brad Stevens will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday after 4 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
