Mrs. Gwendolyn Pittman Davis, age 74 of Oneida went home to join our blessed Lord on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center. She was born on Tuesday, March 9, 1943 in Lexington, Kentucky to the union of Elmer and Frances Risk Pittman. Gwendolyn was a Christian, who loved and served the Lord, she was a member of the Road Run Church of Christ. Gwendolyn made friends everywhere she went; she always had something good to say about everyone. She will be deeply missed. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a dear friend to those she knew. God has opened His arms of love for Gwendolyn to come home.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Janice Pittman Combs and her husband Charles "Chuck" Malcolm Combs of Oneida, her son: Nickey Charles Jenkins and his wife Lisa R. Jenkins of Sciotoville, Ohio and her son: Martin Wayne Davis of Corryton, Tennessee as well as her grandchildren: Heather Marie Combs Kobza, Derek Andrew Jenkins, Hannah Keeton and Issac Keeton. Also surviving are her brothers: John Pittman and his wife Susan of Lexington, and Russell Pittman and his wife Sylvia "Cookie" of Lexington, her sisters: Wanda Gayheart and her husband Paul of Lexington and Emily Green of Nicholasville as well as 16 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Frances Pittman, her husband: Bobby Davis, her brother: Lester Pittman and his wife Martha and her sisters: Shirley Gaunce and her husband Bobby and Loreen Pittman.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Gwendolyn Pittman Davis will be conducted on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Johnny Pittman will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Sourwood Mountain Family Cemetery in Oneida, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held after 12:30 PM on Thursday at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
