Mr. Jim Oberly, age 53 of Manchester departed this life on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Saturday, August 18, 1962 in Wilmington, Delaware to James Oberly, Jr. and Phyllis Stout Oberly.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Angelia Lovins Oberly, his father: James Oberly of Pennsylvania and his mother: Phyllis Oberly of New Jersey, and these children: James "Jim" Oberly, IV, Joshua Oberly, and Christian Oberly, these step children that he loved as his own: Kayla Smith, Patricia Smith, Camron Brown, and Jimmy T. Brown. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Brayden and Chase and his sisters: Lisa Oberly Scholz and Janay Oberly Ellsworth and his nephews: Ryan Oberly and Michael Ellsworth.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 24 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Sister Margaret Drake will be officiating and visitation will be held on Thursday after 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
