Mr. Bill Hoskins, age 89 of Manchester, departed this life on Thursday, April 28, 2016. He was born on Thursday, March 24, 1927 in Manchester, Kentucky to Lee and Mary (Messer) Hoskins. He was a welder, of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed gardening and walking.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Ray Hoskins and wife Maureen of Gary, Indiana; Nannie Minton of Manchester; Ruth Merrick and husband William of Thorton, Colorado; Alice Garrison and husband Roger of Woollum, KY; Ruby Minton of Byesville, OH; and Janet Martin of Byesville, OH; 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a special neighbor: Patricia Hyde. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Mae Coyle, Roberta Nicely, T. L. Hoskins and John A. Hoskins and wife Georgia.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Annie Jarvis Hoskins and his parents: Lee and Mary Hoskins; these brothers: Reed Hoskins and Lee Hoskins, Jr.; his sister: Pauline Burkhart; his sons-in-law: Leroy Martin; Shade Minton and Roger Knight; 1 great grandson: Aaron Smith; 1 great grandson-in-law: Bret Dahmke.
Funeral Services for Mr. Bill Hoskins will be conducted on Monday, May 2 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Micky Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow in Blevins Cemetery in the Woollum Community.
Visitation will be held on Sunday after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
