Mr. Bennie Henson

He was born on Tuesday, September 4, 1945 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Hugh and Mamie Hicks Henson. He was a coal miner and a member of the Baptist church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter: Kizzie Davidson and her husband Darren of Jacksboro, Tennessee, his son: Glenn Henson of Manchester, his step-children: Alisha Foster of Corbin, Jeff Merriman of Manchester, Jody Merriman of Indiana, and these grandchildren: Justin Henson, Zachary Davidson both of Jacksboro, Tennessee, Rella Mitchell of Manchester and Jennifer Deaton of Barbourville, a host of great grandchildren, his sisters: Sally Bowling of Manchester and Kizzie Bowling of Manchester, and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Betsy Henson; his parents: Hugh and Mamie Henson, his sons: Billy Henson, Marshall Henson, his daughter: Louise Henson, and 3 brothers: Bill Henson, Tom J. Henson and Danny Henson.

Funeral Services for Mr. Bennie Henson will be conducted on Thursday, June 11 at 2 PM at the Potter's House Holiness Church. Rev. Bobby Stevens and Rev. Todd Hicks will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling-Henson Cemetery in the Bar Creek Community.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening after 6 PM at the Potter's House Holiness Church.
