Mary Magadline Smith, age 76 departed this life on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.  She was born on Wednesday, May 21, 1947 in Manchester to Lester and Idell Smith Collins.  She was a member of the Upper Hector Holiness Church.

 

She is survived by her children: John Davis, Princess Henson and husband Albert, Jimmy Smith and wife Carolyn, Eddie Joe Cobb and Ashley Henson and Josh, her grandchildren: Rebecca Abner and Brian Hicks, Jackie Nathaniel Bowling, Dalton Scott Bowling, Justin Davis, Aiden Davis and Jimmy Brandon Smith and her great grandchildren: Aiden Abner, Addison Abner, Ashton Hicks, Emily Henson, Jaxson Cole Smith, Riley Dillard Smith, Greyson Bowling, Preston Bowling and Amelia Bowling.  Also surviving are her sisters and brothers: Elsie Mae Harmon, Ida Hubard, Charlie Collins, Harvey Dean Collins, Harold Wayne Collins and Lawrence Collins as well as her special friends: Cynthia Corenel and Kizzie Bowling.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Idell Collins, her daughers: Goldie Ellen Bowling, Diane Davis and Kathy Davis, her brothers: Scott Collins and Delbert Collins and her sisters: America Croucher and Nellie Hatfield.

 

Funeral Services for Mary Magadline Smith will be conducted on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Ryan Smith and Rev. Paul Mitchell will be presiding.  Burial will follow in the Snowball Cemetery in the Bowling Branch Community.

 

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6 PM until 9 PM on Friday evening at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

 

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
