In Loving Memory of Margary H. Potter

Margary H. Potter (Margy) passed away at the age of 93 on Monday, August 25, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born on Wednesday, May 4, 1932 in Manchester, KY to John D. and Cleo (Cotton) Potter. Margary spent most of her adult life in Lexington, KY. She was a member of St. Paul A M E Church in Lexington, KY.

She was not only a caring and loving sister, but also a devoted aunt and mother figure to many nieces and nephews.

Margary is survived by her brother, Eugene (Nan) Potter and sister-in-law: Wilma Potter. She is preceded in death by six sisters, Ada (Potter) Lyttle, Launa (Potter) Walker, Janet Marie Potter, Dorothy (Potter) Lyttle, Margaret (Potter) Love, and Emma Croley as well as one brother, Troy Potter.

Graveside services for Margary H. Potter will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 1:00 P. M. at the Manchester Memorial Gardens. Rev. Donnie McKissic will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 after 12:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel, 402 Richmond Road, Manchester, KY.

When I have gone the last Mile of the way, I will rest at the close of the day. I know joy awaits me when I have gone the last mile of the way.
