Lucy Ann Patterson

Lucy Ann Patterson, age 65 passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at her home.  She was born on Wednesday, November 12, 1958 in Manchester to Cecil and Gladys Mills Wagers.  She worked at the Dollar General Store as a cashier.

She is survived by her daughters: Donna (David) Jones and Sonya (Larry) Gregory and her grandchildren: Madison Jones, Chandler Jones, Lucas Jones, Harvey Anna Gregory and Kennedy Gregory.  Also surviving are her sisters: Rose Johnson, Alice Hall and Carolyn Gadd and her brother: Scotty Wagers as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Cecil and Gladys Wagers, her husband: D.C. Patterson and her brothers: Clifford Wagers and Kenneth Wagers. 

Lucy (Memaw) will be missed by many, she was the sweetest, kind-hearted person.  She was incredibly proud of her family and would do anything for someone especially her best friend and sister-in-law: June Stewart Smith.

Graveside Services for Lucy Ann Patterson will be conducted on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2 PM at the Goose Rock Cemetery in the Goose Rock Community.  Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be presiding.  She will be laid to rest in the Goose Rock Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
