Loretta France

Loretta France, 79, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026, at her home. She was born on Monday, May 19, 1947 in Manchester, Kentucky to Matt and Mattie (Hibbard) Rogers. She attended Thousandsticks Methodist Church and Island Creek Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: David Gambill, Ronnie Gambill, Wanda France, Tyler France, Matthew France, Jayzee France, Austin Moore; these grandchildren: Corporal Kameron “Brice” Napier, Aleiah Gambill, Jon Ryan Collins, Mattie Gambill, and Aaron Allen.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Matt and Matie Rogers; son: Larry France, II; these brothers and sisters: Delbert Rogers, Hubert Rogers, Mary Collins, Frank Rogers, Bill Rogers, Carlo Rogers, Taylor Rogers, Virgie Herd, Sudie Mathis, Nancy Smith; a very special sister: Lucinda Howard.

Funeral services for Lorretta France will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 1:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating. Burial will follow at the France Cemetery in the Buzzard Community.

The Family will receive friends and family from 6:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. on Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
