Linda Wolfe Bowling, age 74 departed this life on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Landmark of Laurel Creek. She was born on Sunday, February 4, 1945 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of George and Daisy Baker Wolfe. She was a retired hairdresser and cosmetologist for over 2 decades at Edith’s Beauty Shop.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Tami Woods and Yvonne Bowling both of Manchester, her grandchildren: Shafter Ryan Davidson of Columbia, Tennessee, Glyndon “Beegee” Woods of Annville, Kentucky, Clay Bowling of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Isaac Woods of Manchester, her great grandchildren: Rylee Davidson, Atlas Davidson and Shevy Woods, her brothers: Johnny Dean Wolfe and his wife Loretta of Manchester and Wendell Wolfe of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and her sister: Billie Jean Hibbard of Manchester.
She is preceded in death by her parents: George and Daisy Wolfe, her brothers: Jimmy Lee Wolfe and Donald C. Wolfe and her brother-in-law: T. J. Hibbard.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Clay County Cancer Coalition.
A celebration of life for Linda Wolfe Bowling will be conducted on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Culton and Jeremy Hacker will be presiding. She will be laid to rest in the Reid Cemetery in the Greenbriar Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
