Katherine Napier

Katherine Napier, age 88, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the Advent Health Manchester, Ky. She was born on February 4, 1938 in Manchester, Ky to Jesse and Sarah Etta McDaniel Lewis. She was a homemaker.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Melody Morton and Steve, Mildred Napier, Henry “Bud” Napier, Jr. and wife Sara, Marzella Carter, Mereckia Burcham and husband Ryan, Katherine Sue Sevier and husband Devin, ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren. Also one sister: Lillie Lewis.

She preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Sarah Lewis, siblings: Pat Lewis, Linda Sandlin, Jesse Coots Hamlin, and her children: Lyle Napier and Jesse Napier and her husband: Henry Napier.

Funeral services for Katherine Napier will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 1:00 P. M. at the Tanyard Cemetery. Chad King and Dale Morton will be officiating . Burial will follow in the Tanyard Cemetery in the Fogertown Community.
