Julia Mae Petrey, age 69 passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the U K Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. She was born on Thursday, May 3, 1956 in West Virginia to Lester and Ada (Smith) Blevins. She was a housekeeper.
She leaves surviving her children: Venus Amber Wagers, Jeremy Petrey and wife Becky, Nick Roberts and step-son: Jamie Roberts; her grandchildren: Lakitta Brumley, Austin Wagers, Dalton Wagers, Ivy Petrey, L. J. Petrey, Trenton Roberts, Shirle Roberts, Dalton Roberts, Hunter Roberts, Bethany Roberts and Brooklyn Roberts. Also surviving are the following siblings: Venus Gibson, Brenda Justice, Shelby Blevins, and Cathy McGraw.
She preceded in death by her husband: Estill Roberts, and these brothers and sister: James Blevins, Eugene Blevins and Sue Belle Blevins.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 after 3 PM. Burial will follow at the Roberts Cemetery in Curry Branch Community.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
