Mrs. Joyce Jackson Reid, age 52 of London, Kentucky passed away Thursday, July 2nd, 2009 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born May 3rd, 1957 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of A. C. Jackson & Delora Jackson. She was employed by Shay Transport.
She is survived by her husband: Steve Reid of London, her daughter: Lorrie Patterson & husband Ronnie of London, 3 grandchildren: Shayla Cheek, Joshua Patterson, & Jayden Patterson. Also surviving are a host of nieces & nephews & these brothers & sisters: Gladys McCarty of Danville, Kentucky, Lester Jackson of Manchester, Wanda Grubbs of London, Orie Jackson of Manchester, Bernice Shelton of Reform, Alabama, Dexter Jackson of Hamilton, Ohio, Judy Wehmiller of Danville, Clyde Jackson of Manchester, & A. C. Jackson, Jr. of Manchester.
A celebration of life for Mrs. Joyce Jackson Reid will be held on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Lily Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11th, from 4 PM until 9 PM at the Lily Grove Baptist Church.
Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
