Joyce Farmer

Joyce Farmer, 78, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away May 3, 2026, at Baptist Health in Paducah.

Born in Manchester, Kentucky, she moved to Princeton in 1972 and lived there many years before recently residing in Paducah with her son and daughter-in-law.

Joyce was a caring and compassionate woman who held her family together. She loved her grandchildren dearly and spoke of them often. She also loved to celebrate and never missed a chance to have a party, bringing joy to those around her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stuart and Mary Standafer. Survivors include two sons, David Farmer (Kristi) of Paducah and Steven Farmer of Princeton; one brother, Frank Standafer (Mary Jo) of Nicholasville; three grandchildren, Amy Hallum (Tristan), Jackie Farmer, and Ian Farmer; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, at 12:00 PM with funeral services at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in the Burning Springs Community. Joyce’s love and joyful spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
