Joshua "Pooter" Sutton Scott Mathis

Joshua “Pooter” Sutton Scott Mathis, age 2 went to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in Corbin, Kentucky.

He leaves to mourn his passing his parents: Haley Martin and Patrick Mathis; his sister and brother: Brooklyn and Matthew; his Aunt Sydney; his grandparents: Rosie and Rick Mathis, Mary Beth and Russell Gay, Shannon Martin and these great grandparents: Joyce Combs and Betty Fields and Brenda Love.

He is preceded in death by his uncle Josh; his great grandparents: Don Combs, Thomas Gene Martin, Dora and Luther Mathis, Carolyn and Sonny Gay and Bobby Brown.

Funeral Services for Joshua Mathis will be conducted on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Travis Gross will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Sharp Cemetery on Laurel Branch.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday after 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
