Jessie Lee Maxie

Jessie Lee Maxie, age 56 passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at his home. He was born on Saturday, May 11, 1968 in Oneida, Kentucky to Arnold and Beulah Rawlings Maxie. He was a coal truck driver.

He leaves to mourn his passing his significant other: Debbie Young, his daughter: Kylee Maxie, his mother: Beulah Maxie, his step children: Sondra Davidson (Dallas), Kirstine Smith (Dakota), Darrell Davidson (Tonya), Dennis Swafford, Jeff Hughes and Carolyn Robinson. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Logan Davidson, Cooper Rose, Penelope Swafford, Khloe Davidson, Amber Hughes, Brady Smith, Hadleigh Smith, Jonah Smith, Nick Robinson and Jade Jones and his brothers and sisters: Eugene Maxie and wife Julie of Farmville, Virginia, Tim Maxie and wife Sharon, Herbert Maxie and wife Yvonne and Charlene Maxie Harrison and husband Danny all of Manchester and Charles Maxie and wife Gracie of Barbourville, Kentucky as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends that he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his father: Arnold Maxie, his sister: Sheila McQueen, his brother-in-law: Rick McQueen and his nephew: Richard McQueen.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Rominger Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Jessie Lee Maxie will be conducted on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bobby Stevens, Rev. Todd Hicks and Rev. Tim Reid will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery in the Charlie Sizemore Road Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:30 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday, June 25, at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
