James Arnold Smith

James Arnold “Pete” Smith, age 54 passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 at his home. He was born on Friday, February 12, 1971 in Manchester, Kentucky to Ellie Mae Smith. He worked in construction for Elmo Greer and Sons for many years.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Lisa Smith, his sons: Justin Smith and Jayden Smith, his mother: Ellie Mae Smith, his brother: Neal Smith, his sister: Nettie Houston and his nephews: Joshua Houston and Quanah Houston, his mother-in-law: Barbara Smith, brothers-in-law: Brian Smith and Bruce Smith and his sister-in-law: Amanda and Joseph Bryant as well as other nieces and nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother: Lucy Smith.
