James Louis Allen

James Louis Allen, 87, passed away on Saturday October 17, 2026 at Laurel Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center. Louis was born June 12, 1939 to the union of Easy Bill and Betty Sawyers Allen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Pearl Allen, Frankie Allen, Roy Allen and Stanley Allen, sister Edith Collins and brother-in-law Orville Collins.

He is survived by sisters-in-law Susan Allen, Barbara Allen and Julia Allen as well as dozens of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, who lovingly knew him as Uncle Louis.

A Celebration of Life for James Louis Allen will be conducted on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Woods Cemetery in the Sacker Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
