Hughie Hoskins

Hughie Hoskins, age 67, departed this life on Friday, February 13, 2026 at his home. He was born on Friday, July 11, 1958 in Clay County, Kentucky to Willie and Marie (Gilbert) Hoskins. He was a coal miner and a member of the Oneida Community Church. Hughie was an avid fisherman and he loved old cars. The love of his life was his granddaughter: Danielle and his great grandson: Remington.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Thelma (Northern) Hoskins and one daughter: Amy Henson and husband Darrell; one granddaughter: Danielle Cox and husband Oakley and one great grandson: Remington Daryl Cox. Also surviving are these sisters and brothers: Mary Davis, Linda Price, Glenn Hoskins, and Dwight Hoskins.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Willie and Marie Hoskins, and these brothers and sisters: Edna Rae Morris, Bobby Hoskins, Della Grace Roberts, John J. Hoskins, Kelly Mae Hoskins, Wanda Browning, Archie Hoskins and Dennis Hoskins.

Funeral Services for Hughie Hoskins will be conducted on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 1:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Todd Hicks and Darrell Henson will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Hyde Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday from 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
