Gracie Hyde

Gracie Hyde, age 77 passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026. She was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1949 in Manchester, Kentucky to Jim and Lula (Hensley) Harris. She was retired from the Clay County Board of Education as a Teacher’s Aide and she was a member of the Muddy Gap Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Johnny Hyde and her children: Dr. Johnny Hyde and wife Erin and Jeff Hyde and wife Lori; these grandchildren: Haley Hyde Spruill and husband Cameron, Maddie Hyde, Silas Hyde, Ellen Hyde, Charlotte Hyde and Rowan Hyde. Also surviving is one brother: Roy Lee Harris and wife Vicki.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Jim and Lula Harris and these brothers and sisters: Dolly Sizemore, Charles Harris, Don Harris, Carl Harris, Lester Harris, Jewell Dean Harris, George Harris and Russell Gregory.

Funeral Services for Gracie Hyde will be conducted on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charles Carnes and Rev. Carl Allen will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, November 6, 2026 after 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
