She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Neal Smith of Manchester, Nettie Houston and Dallas of London, Ky, daughter-in-law: Lisa Smith of Manchester; her grandchildren: Joshua Houston of Knoxville, Tenn, Quanah Houston and Jessica of London and Justin and Jayden Smith of Manchester; two great grandchildren: Ellie Mae and Rudy James of London, Ky. To all her grandchildren she wanted each of you to know how much she loved you and that she wished she had a little more time. She was a hardworker, dedicated to her family, never complained. Her first diagnosis of cancer after chemo, she would come home and help with her elderly mother never complained, never wanted pity. Within 30 minutes before her passing we could smell Mamaw Lucy’s sweet tobacco in the room. We believe she felt her presence as well before she passed. She smiled and took her last breath. She had been asking for her mommy. She met God and was in the arms of her mother and son.

Our body is only temporary a habitat for our soul. It is not the end. We will see you again. We love you, Mommy.
