Elbert Bray

Elbert Bray, age 81, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 in Manchester, Ky. He was born on August 6, 1944 in Manchester, Ky to Henry and Lucy (Reid) Bray. He was a farmer , janitor and a bus driver and he retired from the Clay County Board of Education.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Elbert Lee Bray and wife Laura Ann, Tim Bray and wife Brandy and these grandchildren: Tabitha Jones, Tyler and Trenton Bray , Shelby Messer, Robin Underwood and Gallagher Davidson; thirteen great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother: Marshall Bray.

He preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Lucy Bray; his wife: Diccie Bray; one daughter: Sara Lynn Davidson: these brothers and sisters: J L Bray, Larry Bray, June Wolfe, Sadie Murray, Mary Jane Cowens, Reecie Caudil, Zelda and Bessie Bray.

Funeral services for Elbert Bray will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 2:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating . Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery .

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 after 12:00 P. M. until funeral time at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
