Dennis "Doc" Smith

Dennis “Doc” Smith, age 61, departed this life on Thursday, August 28, 2025 in Manchester, Ky. He was born on Wednesday, January 22, 1964 in Manchester, Ky to Luther and Nancy (Rogers) Smith. He worked at 421 Service Station for 15 years.

He is survived by his children: Dennis Smith and wife Katrina and Kimberly Jo Smith; these grandchildren: Draven Smith, Lincoln Smith, Briella Smith, Whitley Smith, Kaelyn Collins, Kylee Collins ; his aunt: Loretta France. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: James Smith, Virginia Dezarn, Billy Smith, Carl Smith, Jimmy Smith, Phyllis Jackson, Loretta “Tootie” Mathis, Betty Jean Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Luther and Nancy Smith and his sister: Kimberly Ann Smith.

Funeral services for Dennis "Doc"  Smith will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lyle Sizemore will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Stivers-Baker Cemetery in the Island Creek Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 after 6:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
