Mr. Clayton Roberts, age 67 of Burning Springs, passed away Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born October 25th, 1941 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of William “Willie” & Easter Webb Roberts. He was a retired school teacher & a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Jeanie Whitis Roberts of Burning Springs, his children: Monte Roberts & wife Beatrice of Manchester, Ernest Bundy & wife Deb of Manchester, his step-sons: Robert Wayne Craft & wife Beverly of Manchester, & Douglas Randall Dobson & wife Lisa of Mesa, Arizona. Also surviving are the following grandchildren: Alisha Brooke Roberts, Justin Craft, Jared Craft, Carrie Craft, Breanne Bundy, Kellen Bundy, Nathan Dobson, & Nicholas Dobson. Also surviving are the following brothers & sisters: William Roberts & wife Joanne of Manchester, Hazel Turner of Manchester, Allie Sue White & husband Jennings of Manchester, & Lettie Chadwell & husband Earl of Manchester.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Willie & Easter Roberts, his sister: Lola Hounchell, & his brother: Larry Joe Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Building Fund.

Funeral Services for Mr. Clayton Roberts will be held Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 at 2 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Goodman will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 29th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home & Tuesday, June 30th, after 1 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church.

Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
