Clarence Jones

Clarence Jones, age 93 of Wyandotte, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at his home.  He was born on Tuesday, April 28, 1931 in Manchester, Kentucky to Harvey and Lucy (Gregory) Jones.  He was a Kentucky Colonel, worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years and is a veteran of the United States Army.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 63 years:  Billie Jean (Gibbs) Jones; and two children:  Peggy Green and husband Randy and Will Jones and wife Carol; one grandson:  Adam Green and wife Rachelle and a great grandson on the way:  Hunter Green.  Also surviving is one brother:  Harold Jones and the following nephews and nieces:  Mike Jones, Frank Jones, Chet Jones, Bruce Jones, Frankie Jones, Stanford Jones, Faye Deaton, Wilma Jean Rush, and Betty Sue Eddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Harvey and Lucy Jones; his grandson:  John Green, and these siblings:  Charles Jones, Chester Jones, Martha Jones Smith, Della Jones Smith, Harvey Jones, Bates Jones and Elmer Jones.

Funeral Services for Clarence Jones will be conducted on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 2:00  P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Darrell Bargo will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Herd Cemetery in the Sibert Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday after 12:00  P. M.  at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
