Charles Smith, age 66 departed this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at his home. He was born on July 8, 1960 in Manchester, Kentucky to Ben and Edith (Eversole) Smith.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Jessica Bohannon, Kevin Smith and Brandon Smith; these grandchildren: Isabella Asher, Zechariah Bohannon, Lincoln Smith, Luca Smith, Winter Smith, Brayden Smith, Paisley Smith, Serenity Smith and Dante Smith. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Willie B. Smith, George Smith, Bob Smith, Lorene Swafford, Jean Henson, and Callie Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Ben and Edith Smith, his brothers: Vernon Smith and Ralph Smith.

Funeral Services for Charles Smith will be conducted on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Mitchell and Rev. Don Hubbard will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery on Chop Bottom.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, August 28, 2026 after 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
