Catherine Hollin

Catherine Hollin, age 85 passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Tuesday, April 23, 1940 in Manchester to Theophilus Toulmin and Nannie Mae (White) Stivers. She was a retired school teacher and worked at the Hacker Elementary School for many years as well as a member of the Greenbriar Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years: Ralph Hollin, also surviving are her sons: Jamie Hollin and wife Bethany and Forest Marshall Hollin, her grandchildren: Matthew Hollin and wife Emily, Madison Hollin and Aubrey Hollin and her great granddaughter: Lainey Blair Hollin as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Theophilus Toulmin and Nannie Mae Stivers and her brothers: William Letcher Stivers, Forest Nevel Stivers and Charles M. Stivers.

Funeral Services for Catherine Hollin will be conducted on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ken Bolin will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Reid Cemetery in the Greenbriar Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
