Bettie Sue Thompson

Bettie Sue Thompson, age 70 departed this life on Friday, July 31, 2026 at her home. She was born on Monday, January 2, 1956 in Oneida, Kentucky to John and Melba (Wolfe) Thompson. She worked for ACS and was a member of the Church of God Worship Center.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Tracie Wagers and husband Rodney and Kimberly Rogers and Jonathan, her grandchildren: Casey Hibbard, Andrew Hibbard, Austin Wagers, Nick Wagers and Emma Rogers as well as her great grandchildren: Rowan Wagers and Aspen Wagers and Bradley Sizemore and Tyrell Sizemore, whom she loved as her own.

She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Melba Thompson, her brother: Kenneth Thompson and her sisters: Judy Thompson, Lucy Stevens and Loretta “Rick” Wells.

Funeral Services for Bettie Sue Thompson will be conducted on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joey Burns and Rev. Brad Stevens will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, August 4 from 7 PM until 9 PM at the Church of God Worship Center.
