Annie Lou Smith

Annie Lou (Wagers) Smith, age 70, of Goose Rock, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the Advent Health in Manchester, KY. She was born on Friday, April 22, 1955 in Manchester, KY to Andrew and Marie (Smallwood) Wagers. She was a homemaker.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Randy Smith and special daughter-in-law Sonnie, Jeffrey Smith (Christina), Jennifer Smith and boyfriend Gary Young, James Smith (Rebecca), Michael Smith (Ebby), 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Johnny Wagers (Tammy), Annie Mae Smith (Bruce), Della Messer, Shirleen Wagers, Kathleen Smith (David), Debbie Ray ( the Cable Guy, Donnie) and two special cousins: Rosaleen Wagers and Lizzie Mae Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Andrew and Marie Wagers; her husband: Danny; her son: Andy and her sister: Ella Gray.

Funeral services for Annie Lou (Wagers) Smith will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 1:00 P. M. at the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren. Rev. Shirley Joe Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Smith-Couch Cemetery at John’s Branch Community.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 after 6:00 P. M. at the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren.
