Ance McWhorter, Jr

Mr. Ance McWhorter, Jr., age 82 of Warsaw, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 at the Gallatin Health Care Center in Warsaw, Kentucky. He was born July 30th, 1926 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Ance Brack & Maggie Hopper McWhorter. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by the following brothers & sisters: Beatrice Greer of Hamilton, Ohio, Granville McWhorter of Fairfield, Ohio, Seymour McWhorter of Goshin, Ohio, Dora Parker of Mountain Washington, Ohio, & Charlie McWhorter of Manchester, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Ance Brack & Maggie Hopper McWhorter, 1 sister: Laura Pennington, & 1 brother: Ray McWhorter.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Chad’s Hope, 300 Chad McWhorter Lane, Manchester, Kentucky 40962.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ance McWhorter, Jr. will be Saturday, March 28th, 2009 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Frank Peters & Rev. Bill Boyd will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery in the Burning Springs Community.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 28th, after 12 Noon at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
