Fordie Burns

Mr. Fordie Burns, age 66 of Barbourville departed this life on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Barbourville ARH.  He was born on Friday, May 16, 1952 in Manchester to the union of George and Lillie Maxie Burns.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Geraldine Broughton Burns, his sons: Charles Burns and his wife Brandy and Travis Burns, 3 grandchildren: Charley, Tucker and McKinley Burns, his special aunts: Ollie Ruth Cope and Alma Maxie, 2 special uncles: Carlo Burns and his wife Catherine and George Maxie, Jr.  Also surviving are his brothers: Freddie Burns and his wife Linda, and Paul Burns, his sister; Patricia Cress and her husband Jerry, these nieces and nephews: Dylan Cress, Emily Faith Cress, Angela Burns and Katrina Smith as well as many cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: George and Lillie Burns, his brother: George David Burns and his nephew: Jeremy Burns.

Graveside services for Mr. Fordie Burns will be conducted on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 4 PM at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.  Charles Burns will be presiding.  Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
