Edith (Hacker) Davidson

Mrs. Edith Davidson, age 66 of Crane Branch in Oneida departed this life on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Mary Breckenridge Hospital in Hyden, Kentucky.  She was born on Monday, March 17, 1952 in Clay County to the union of James and Mae Biggs Hacker.  She was a nurse’s aide and a cook for the Oneida Elementary School.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Jesse L. Davidson and her daughters: Dora Mae Davidson Hacker and her fiancé Mike French and Jessica Glenna Davidson Arnett Jones and husband Dennis.  Also surviving are her grandchildren: James L. Dylan Hacker and his girlfriend Natosha Gilbert and Cheyenne Elizabeth Mae Arnett Hensley and husband Jimmy, her great grandchildren: Rodney Lee Dylan Hensley, Jimmy Ray Bently Hensley and Aaliyah Taylor Smith as well as her brothers and sister: Clemon James Hacker, Lester Hacker, Harvey Hacker and Irene Hacker Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her parents: James and Mae Hacker, her brothers and sisters: Pauline Hacker Taylor, Louraine Hacker Greer, Barbara Jean Hacker, America Hacker Wilson, Sophia Addie Hacker Alexander, Rachel Hacker Saylor, Tilmon Hacker and Billy Hacker.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Edith Davidson will be conducted on Saturday, August 17, 2018 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. JC Stevens and Rev. Robert Rice will be presiding.  Interment will follow in the Jesse L. Davidson Family Cemetery in the Crane Branch Community.

Visitation will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
