Cleaven Smith

Cleaven Smith, age 71 of Sand Hill Road departed this life on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the St. Joseph East in Lexington, Kentucky.  He was born on December 17, 1946 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Anderson and Sallie (Smith) Smith.

He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter: Pamela Smallwood, 6 Grandchildren: Pangie Smallwood, Brandon Smallwood, James Smallwood, Jennifer Smallwood, Crystal Smallwood and Matthew Smallwood, and 4 Great Grandchildren.  Also surviving are his brothers and sister: James Smith, Vera Doty, Terry Smith, and Corky McKnight.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Anderson and Sallie Smith and his sister:  Posia Smith and his brother: Ralph Smith, and the mother of his daughter: Jessielean Smith.

Funeral Services for Cleaven Smith will be conducted on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 4 PM at the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren.  Rev. Dave Balmer will be presiding.  Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery in the Sand Hill Community.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening after 6 PM at the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren.
